We do not just investigate, we disrupt
Our impact
Our ambition is to deliver impact. To do so, INPACT aims at providing a better understanding of Russian covert activities and specifically private military proxies and influence to media, academics, policymakers, public and international institutions. INPACT engages also in advocacy and campaigning actions.
Media partnership and media coverage
INPACT collaborates with international newsrooms on a regular basis as co-investigators, researchers or for briefings.
The AEOW project has been featured in international newspapers and documentaries.
We welcome media collaboration to co-build investigations and access to leaks in limited circulation.
Advocacy
Some of our investigations have had tremendous impact.
INPACT has published an investigation in partnership with EIC revealing Wagner Group timber business in the Central African Republic. This investigation was presented later on to the EU Commission member states for information and was later sanctioned by international sanction authorities.
In an AEOW report focusing on human-right abuses in Mali, INPACT researched the Wagner Group chain of command. This work has been used by the Council of Europe in its 10th package of sanctions on Russia on February 25th, 2023.
Together with EIC and Dossier Center, INPACT revealed the sale of conflict diamonds by Evgeny Prigozhin in the Central African Republic. This investigation has also been used by the Council of Europe in its 10th package of sanctions on Russia on February 25th, 2023.
Action
INPACT welcomes opportunity to brief relevant organisations and stakeholders on Russia’s hybrid warfare tactics and on the Wagner group and its legacy.
